Accessing your video content after your session with Video Express is straightforward. Begin by visiting our website at videoexpress.purdue.edu. Once you're there, log in using your Purdue Career Account, and your dashboard will automatically display the content from your recent session, making everything easily accessible.

Pending videos

If your videos are still processing, there's no need for concern. An alert will be visible on your dashboard, indicating the number of videos currently being processed. This ensures you're always informed about the status of your content.

Downloading and exporting videos

From your dashboard, you have a variety of options at your disposal. If you wish to do some post-processing, the system allows you to effortlessly download the video files to your computer. This feature allows you to further refine your content as needed.

Upload to Kaltura - Purdue's MediaSpace

For those looking to collaborate or share their work, the videos can be sent directly to Purdue's MediaSpace. This feature facilitates easy sharing and collaboration, enhancing the overall video creation process.

Kaltura serves as Purdue University's trusted platform for distributing video content across a range of applications. Within our Video Express website, you'll find an Upload to Kaltura feature nestled in the drop-down menu beneath each video on your content page.

Leveraging this feature, you have the power to personalize your video title, establish video ownership, request closed captioning, and seamlessly transfer your file to the Kaltura platform. Once your video is on Kaltura, you can follow additional steps to share it with students in a Brightspace course or authorized users on a SharePoint website.

Closed Captioning

Please note that closed captioning is currently available only to faculty and staff and it is enabled by default when using this feature in Video Express.

Trash videos

Lastly, any videos that are no longer needed can be easily discarded. Simply move them to the trash, keeping your dashboard clean and organized.
