Theme

A theme in Video Express is a preselected grouping of a background, logo, and intro video. By choosing a theme, you can quickly establish a consistent visual style for your video, ensuring a professional and cohesive look that aligns with your content.

Background

The background is the visual element that appears behind you during your video. You can choose from various options to suit your presentation's tone and content best. Whether you want a simple color, a professional office setting, or a dynamic Purdue landscape, the choice is yours.

The logo option lets you incorporate your organization's branding into your video. By selecting a logo, you can reinforce your affiliation and enhance your video's professional appearance.

Intro video

The intro video is a short clip that plays at the beginning of your video. This can be used to set the tone and reinforce the branding of your video series.

Lower third

The lower third is a graphic overlay that appears at the bottom of the screen, typically used to display information such as your name and title. This feature helps to introduce you to your audience and can also be used to highlight key points during your presentation. In Video Express studios, the lower third will play after an intro video and will fade after 5 seconds.

Mini presentation

This feature allows you to choose which side of the screen your mini-presentation appears on during your video. Whether you prefer it on the left or right, this option gives you control over the layout of your video, ensuring your content is presented in the most effective way.
